Violin and composition art



VIOLIN



Qualified with full marks in violin at the Music Conservatory of G. Verdi of Milan in '92 under the guidance of O. Scilla, he has carried out intense artistic activities in the roles of soloist, violin master and violin in the row of various orchestras, in hundreds of concerts.
With this last role it is noteworthy to mention activity at the Haydn orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, Orchestra of Teatro alla Scala, The 'Filarmonica del Teatro alla Scala', 'Cameristi del Teatro Teatro alla Scala' and for over 7 years in the Orchestra of the Teatro Carlo Felice of Genoa.
He has participated in different competitions qualifying in first place (Tortona, Stresa, etc.) and has studied with the Maestros: F. Gulli, G.Franzetti, A.Carfi, S.Pagliani.

COMPOSITION AND COMPUTER MUSIC


Specialized in computer programming and computer music since 1985, he took the diploma of electroacoustic music with R.Sinigaglia at the Conservatory of Milan in 1998. He has studied traditional composition under the guidance of E.Brusa, N.Castiglioni and A.Solbiati in the same conservatory and concluded the course with high marks at the Conservatory N.Paganini of Genoa with L.Giachino in Autumn 2000.
He has had varied executions of his own work in many Italian localities and abroad (United States, Brasil, etc.).
In 1992 he collaborated with Alessandro Ferrari for the "Elfi dei Boschi" ballet (in cooperation with Teatro alla Scala) at 'Teatro Carcano" in Milan.
Always in '92 he took the course of music for film of Ennio Morricone and in '96 he won the third prize at 'Luigi Russolo', the international competition of electronic/acoustic music with the composition "Fusione Fredda"-"Cold Fusion" (short extract 68k in WAV, about 1 minute of transfer). Currently he's the owner and director of Virtual Sheet Music®, a new, first rated web based company selling classical sheet music to download.
