I like several composers, one for every period: Bach for the Baroque, Mozart for the Classical, Beethoven for early romantic, Brahms for Romantic, Prokofiev and for the Modern. This is about the "classical" genre, but I also love composer of other genres such as film music (John Williams and Hans Zimmer) or Jazz (George Gershwin, David Benoit, and others...).

You asked why... well, it's difficult to say "why"! I like them because I love their music!

Thank you.

Best,
Fabrizio

I like the most piano composers mainly, because I play this instrument (piano). I like Chopin, as well as Bach ,Mozart, Rachmaninov. Prokofiev is sometimes hard to play for me.

I enjoy many composers & as Fabrizio stated from the various periods of music, Beethovan, Mozart, Haydn, Handel, Bach, Stravinsky, Bartok, Debussy, Ravel, & also the composers of my instrument, the Harp, Salzedo, Zabeleta, Grandjany, Renie, Schlomovitz, & Ashby. Then I enjoy the modern composers as I mention in my CP, the ones of my Time & Space, J. Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, George Benson, George Duke, McCoy Tyner. These composers are different from classical composers, in that their music is "Structured" but free for the Composition of Self Expression. "Spontaneous Composition". And many of these Improvisational Composers were once students of the Classical Arts as Well.
