You can play with orchestra... Play with your heart... play in your heart... play in heart... play in heart of Europe...

Heart of Europe chamber string orchestra is a group of 15 professional musicians from Slovakia, performing in the best Slovakian orchestras (Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Slovak Radio Symphony orchestra, Slovak National Theatre ...). Orchestra has been established by players themselves because of their love and passion for string and chamber music.
In 2010 summer, everybody can play with this orchestra. Everybody can participate, without any selection procedure. Everything you have to do is to fill out the application form and send it to Heart of Europe.
Happenings are dedicated to all musicians - players, singers, composers, and conductors. The main idea of happenings is to experience interaction with orchestra and to promote international cooperation between musicians from all over the world. You can choose the term which meets your needs and you have the option to add master classes to your happening.

During 2010 summer, four happenings are about to be realized. In your application form, you have to choose from these terms:
July 5 - 13, 2010
July 19 - 27, 2010
August 2 - 10, 2010
August 16 - 24, 2010

During the happening, we provide daily playing with orchestra (practice or concert), audio and video recording, full board accommodation, sightseeing tours and leisure time. Each participant has to assure his own airline tickets and insurance. We provide transfer from/to airports in Wiena, Prague, Budapest and Bratislava day before and day after the happenings in Banská Bystrica. Price for this happening is 4000€ (180 minutes of playing with orchestra). You have the option to add master classes for a price of 700€ (4700€ total - 180 minutes of playing with orchestra and master class with expert tutor).
