Greetings and Hello. My name is Jaythan Sparks and most of my friends, in and out of the industry know me as 'BISHOP'. I was giving this name over 20 years ago when I first when to work in Japan. Most people could not pronounce my name correctly, so a friend of mine started calling me 'Bishop'. I think it had to do more with the calling that was on my life as a Christian than anything else. Well, needless to say, the name stuck and every one have called me 'Bishop' every since.

I am a pianist and I really enjoy the fact that I am a musician. I absolutely love it. I believe the Gift of Music is a very special endowment given to special people by a special POWER (the God I believe in). I LOVE many, many genres of music. Soundtrak/Film Music is a very emotional musical aphrodisiac for me. Although I compose music for many different genres, Film Music is my love and then it's classical and straight ahead jazz.

I have a very strong passion for teaching piano. So many people are taking the challenge and learning how to play the piano but many of them are going about it all wrong. I've seen many YouTube postings and I actually wanting to cry because of the crap that's out there. My need to teach an individual to play piano is more than the need to take their money or promote and advertise myself. Many of the postings are just for advertising and the people who are looking to learn are the ones that suffers. My passion is to GIVE to those who WANT and NEED to learn how to play piano.

Again, thank you all for this forum and website because it offers me the opportunity to offer and make available my passion for teaching.
