Dominique, I see that you are in région parisienne - me too. I'm originally from New Zealand and I see in your bio on your site that you knew Edwin Carr. I remember discussing composition with him on a couple of occasions around the time I was studying music in Wellington.

hello there...

im now practicing the carmen fantasy by borne... it is originaly for flute... do you think it is worthy to play it on oboe? my range is from Bb bellow middle c up to Bb above 3rd C.... thanks

why not. The composer didn't wrote for that instrument but I think you should try to play it.
