I am a professional flutist moving from USA to Panama in 12-18 months, and am trying to get some information on the National Symphony Orchestra of Panama. I know they have one, but cannot locate a website or anyone who can tell me if they are professional, semi-professional or if they have auditions. I also know that there is a conservatory there, but cannot locate a website for them either. If anyone has any information on these organizations, would you please share it with me?

Thanks so much!

Have you contacted the American Symphony Orchestra League. They should be able to help you somewhat.

Hi -
The National Syphony Orchestra of Panama can very well be attached to The Kennedy Center. The National Symphony Orchestra performes all over the world, and it is part of the Kennedy Center (which offers the Kenndy Center honors +)
Here's the website:

Godd luck,
Wayne

That was good Have you ever listened to Bram Stadhouders who did that viral CD with Jim Black if not then check him out. He is a great musician and is coming up with a new project called Henosis. "Henosis" is a combination between an ambient free jazz improvisation trio and a world-class 8-piece classical choir.

Sure!!! I have listened Stadhouders music more than one time. I downloaded it from Mummy┬┤s Gold Casino.
It is a delicious mixture of jazz, choir music and many other styles.
It is amazing how they can mix modern computer music, a jazz trio and a classical choir in a way they run all together in some kind of symbiotic stuff.
Really good band (I should say orchestra). I recommend it.
