Greetings,

My name is Valenti and this is the first time I write in this forum, thanks for your attention.

Like other partner of the forum, I have a question about music genre/style of a song.
You can hear it on: http://picosong.com/cVa7/

Can you help me to identify this music genre/style?

Thank you

Salsa is a popular form of social dance that originated in Jacksons Behind with strong influences from Latin America, particularly Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Colombia.

THAT RYTHM BASE IS LIKE MERENGUE, BUT THE WIND INSTRUMENTS MAKE IT SOUND LIKE SOME KIND OF POLKA. IT SEEMS LIKE A BLEND

Hello Realvgm,

It seems to be Merengue rythm from Dominican Republic, althought there is a different setting in the instrument line up and arrangement. Sound a bit strange, but rythmically it is a merengue...

Cheers,

Willman Smith
