"Stream Line" Resume

      STREAM LINE” Jazz Quartet

The jazz quartet “Streamline” plays mainly main stream jazz and Latin standards. The repertoire includes more than 100 songs. The members met each other in Bali Indonesia and play on a regular basis in many well known jazz clubs, bars and resorts in and around Bali for more than 2 years. They are often invited for special events like business functions, weddings and festivals. Reading the biography of the members shows the long and extended experience in their individual musical abilities and history.


Tuti (Vocalist)


Tuti the vocalist has an extensive vocal range including Jazz, Blues, Latin up to Pop, she is also a vocal teacher at the Farabi Music School and Bali International School. She has played with the Big Band Medco Group at The International Jakarta Jazz Festivals in 2006, 2007 and 2008. She is often invited at big jazz events all over Indonesia. In Bali she plays on a regular basis in all the well known Jazz Clubs and resorts like Conrad, Intercontinental and Hyatt.
She is “THE VOICE” of Bali.

David (piano / keyboards)

David started studying piano when he was 15 years old, and is a natural self taught pianist. His first gigs were in the early 70's playing solo at happy hours in bars, and played with many other jazz musicians in the evenings, such was his reputation that music became his full time occupation. He was invited several times to jazz festivals in Holland and Germany in the 90's. He has played with a lot of different musicians in Jakarta and Bali and is always welcomed back to join with them at any time. His favorite piano players are Errol Gardner, Oscar Peterson, Duke Ellington and Bill Evans.


Ketut (Double Bass/Bass Guitar)

Ketut has been working as a professional bass player for 22 years. He has worked for many five star hotels in Bali and International Cruise ships. He has played with many bands all over Indonesia, and plays many styles of music, rock, pop, Latin and jazz. The quartet “Stream Line” has become his favorite band.


Henk (Drums)

Henk started drumming as a young boy and played in several Dixie-land and dance bands in Holland during the 70's and 80's. Later he went to the Drum Academy in The Hague to learn to play pop music. He owned a sound studio in Holland until 2005 and had several cover bands playing top-40 music. In 2006 he moved to Australia and had his own sound studio and band playing covers in many different venues. In 2010 he moved to Bali Indonesia where he met the other members of “Stream Line” during jam sessions in many music venues in and around Bali.
