Originally from Paraguay, have been performing in several countries, Italy, Germany, Norway, United Arabs Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi), Bahrain, Qatar, Mauritius, Seoul-Korea, Japan for the past 10 years. They speak in 4 languages (Spanish, English, Italian and Portuguese) and specialize in entertaining international audiences.
Luz de Luna Duo has an extensive repertoire that takes advantage of their considerable language skills. Their music include italian songs, latin, folk and standards; all performed in acoustic style vocals, harp and guitars.

NELSON GONZALEZ: Voice, harp, guitar and requinto

Nelson was born in Asuncion - Paraguay, actually with the Italy nationality, studied classic guitar with the well-know Felipe Sosa in his hometown Asuncion, and later on, he studied music theory and writing with Luis Miranda and Manuel Cabral.
He is member of the American Federation of Musicians New Jersey, Local 204, USA, and of the German Association of Musicians (kunstler socialkasse).
He performed at the Spanish Steps at the Caesar Palace Hotel in Las Vegas, NV, as harpist in the 1989-1990.
After playing in Japan, Spain, Italy and Germany, for a number of years, he toured with the famous group “Los Paraguayos” through all Germany, Turkey, Cyprus, Sweden, and Denmark.


Marisol was born in Asunción – Paraguay. She is the vocalist of this duet and started her career as a theater actress at the age of ten.
Studied vocalization and singing with the Russian Prof.Virginia Stariska and with Prof. Ranulfo "Yoyito" Flecha; and guitar lessons with teacher Keny Acevedo.
Before joining Luz de Luna Duo, she was the lead singer in several vocal groups in her country. As an international music soloist singer, she performed in theaters, hotels and casinos, making also tours in neighboring countries.
