I am Italian, 39 years old, and I have a solid classical background, with the highest degree in Piano available inItaly and a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Hawaii.

As a pianist, keyboardist, composer, arranger and recording artist, I believe I am truly unique. My music includes a wide range of styles such as Classical, Rock, Pop and New Age. Recently I discovered the amazing Roland Ax-Synth, a new concept keyboard. It is so versatile that it allows me to perform in multiple sounds of different instruments i.e electric guitar, cello and violin just to name a few.

Queen Concert for Keyboard, Piano and Orchestra (2011) and Concerto Suite for Keyboard, Piano and Orchestra (2010) are just two of my compositions.

The Queen Concert is based on Freddie Mercury’s songs such as We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions andWho Wants to Live ForeverNovember 2011 will be the 20th anniversary of Freddie Mercury’s death.

The Concerto Suite is composed on melodies from the Italian Opera and Pop, plus tunes by Morricone, Scriabin and Wagner. The energetic rock music by Toto is also utilized.

The pieces, which are approximately 40 minutes in length, are arranged for keyboard solo, piano solo, drums, electric bass and symphonic orchestra.

I am also currently composing a new original piece, 2012 Symphony - Celebrating the New Age for keyboard solo, piano, choir and orchestra (the opening music of my website www.andreaspolti.com - currently under maintenance - is from the 2012 Symphony), whilst working on new recordings of some of the most popular songs in Classical, Pop and Rock music i.e pieces by Albinoni, Bach, Dvorak and Bad Romance by Lady Gaga. All these pieces, rearranged and given a new twist to them, will later be perform in a program called From Bach to Lady Gaga.

I am currently working as a keyboardist of the Transit Band at the Erawan Grand Hyatt in Bangkok.
