Rebecca Xiao Resume

      Rebecca's singing career started at a very early age. On her childhood she used to sing for
her family and friends songs form one of her favorite Chinese singers Teresa Teng. Looking
to improve her knowledge and singing skills, at the edge of 13 she started taking private
singing lessons, at that point she realized that singing was what she wanted to do
professionally as a career, hence she started joining several singing competitions and
successfully graduated from the Xinghai Conservatory of Music of Guangzhou.

Although Rebecca's voice allow her to go trough different kind of music styles and genres,
her comfort zone is in the Soul, R&B and Jazz standards. Some of Rebecca's biggest influences
are: Stevie Wonder, Ella fitzgerald, Mel Torme, Esperanza Spalding, Joss Stone, etc.


Experience

Rebecca has been performing professionally since 2003, joining several singing competitions
and working as a lead singer in several venues around China and Asia.

2009 - 2013 Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Guangzhou, China.
Graduated as Vocal Performer on Pop Music.
2011 Attended the Music Performing Seminar and obtaining a membership from the Pop
Music Association of China.

Skills
Rebecca's vocal range and technics, allow her to perform accurately a wide range of music
genres. Complementing this is her ability of singing in different languages such as: English,
Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, etc.
