Tamas Rozsos Resume

      Tamás ROZSOS was born in Budapest in 1981. He started his violin studies at the age of 5. In 1999 he switched to viola and in 2000 he was admitted to the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, where his professor was Prof. László Bársony (New Budapest String Quartet). He graduated in 2005. Thereafter he continued his studies in Neuchatel, Switzerland, in the class of Prof. Zoltán Tóth, where he obtained a degree in September 2008. Since September 2008, following a successful entrance examination, he is studying in Geneva under the guidance of Prof. Nobuko Imai.

He participated in several master courses: Nobuko Imai (Pablo Casals Festival, Prades, 2008),Garth Knox (Geneva, 2008),Kim Kashkashian (Bartók Seminar, Szombathely, 2007), Tatjana Mazurenko (Leipzig, 2007), Janos Starker (Kronberg, 2007), György Konrád (Nyirbátor Festival 1999), Zoltán Tóth (Veszprém 2002).

He won a concert opportunity in the Podium of Young Soloists (2008).

He has given several solo concerts in Hungary www.obudaitarsaskor.hu, Switzerland, Italy and Germany. He has played in the following orchestras: Bern Chamber Orchestra, Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, New Austro-Hungarian Haydn Orchestra.
