Michele Camilloni Creative Page

Born in Rome in 1977, Michele Camilloni studied Percussion Instruments at the Conservatorio 'Santa Cecilia' of Rome, from where he graduated with top marks. In the meantime he earned a degree in Musicology from the University of Pavia cum laude. His thesis was entitled Erich Wolfgang Korngold - una drammaturgia musicale

From 2003 to 2007 he has become the director of the musical magazine Allegro con Brio published by the Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma. 

As a performer, he has appeared with numerous orchestras. Appearances include concerts with the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, the Orchestra di Roma e del Lazio, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma and the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia

In 2007 he started his collaboration as timpanist and/or percussionist with Orchestra Roma Sinfonietta.
