I began the study of piano at age 5, and have been playing for nearly 55 years. I studied with Dr. Thurman Morrison at Hardin-Simmons University, then built a 20-year career in entertainment production and promotion. Moving from California to Texas gave me an opportunity to enter the teaching field. I teach public school music, operate a small private studio with 12 - 15 students, serve as church pianist for First Baptist Church, Texarkana, and also play for weddings and special events in the community.
