'Thanks to everyone for the job you did at our wedding. We had an absolutely perfect day and the quartet were the icing on the cake.  Philippa really appreciated the arrangement of moments in love, especially having it second time around." Graham and Philippa Buchanan

We have recently won the BA Special Wedding Entertainment Award which is recognized both locally and nationally: "As part of their Corporate Policy to recognise outstanding achievements made within the business community, Milton Keynes & Bedfordshire Today has selected a number of forward-thinking companies that displayed a continual commitment to recognise best practice, innovative business processes and overall high quality customer-focused service. From these nominees a short list of finalists was then formed, who were assessed and scored on their individual merit. In line with this philosophy, Ariella Strings has been successful in winning the prestigious BA SPECIAL WEDDING ENTERTAINMENT AWARD 2008/09. As a completely independent Award Programme, recognising business excellence across a wide range of disciplines, the Business Achievement Award is recognised both locally and nationally. "

'To Ariella Strings, Thanks to you all for the wonderful music at our wedding on 30th August 2008. It added a great atmosphere and the guests were very impressed, as were we.' Kevin and Jo

Having been singled out to receive the BA SPECIAL WEDDING ENTERTAINMENT AWARD 2008/09 serves as a distinguishing factor that ranks Ariella Strings amongst the best in its field, as well as acting as a seal of approval to prospective clients."

'Thank you so much for all your help in the lead up to what was the happiest day of our life - your music helped to make our ceremony the personal and colourful time it was - and so many people commented too. THANKYOU and we do hope we will hear you again someday soon' Clare & Tony

WORKSHOPS
Ariella Strings are committed to bringing high quality music to the general public. To this end we have put together a number of programmes and workshops aimed at making music more accessible to people who would not normally have the opportunity.

Education Workshops
We always try to make our workshops fun. We are careful to cater to the needs of the audience and make sure our programmes are equally appropriate to players and non-players alike. All projects are tailor-made to the specific school, consortium or venue with whom the ensemble is working, so it is not possible to outline exactly the format of any particular project.

One of our most popular workshops for schools is entitled 'Five Hundred Years of Popular Music'. It takes the audience on a history tour through popular music. This is, of course, adapted depending on the age range of the children. In our workshops we use activities and games to show participants how to learn to memorise and repeat rhythms, words and melodies, and work together in a group. These sessions are normally linked to a concert given by the ensemble, but can work equally well as a free-standing event.

Chamber Music Coaching
If you have a string ensemble group that could benefit from professional coaching, we have many years of experience between us. Coaching can be arranged to encourage your students to improve their understanding and enjoyment of music making as a chamber group.

Outreach
This is an infinitely flexible medium! We give a short concert of up to 60 minutes in which a variety of works are presented and introduced. The format is varied according to the target audience, but this is relevant to special needs students, old peoples' homes, hospitals and youth centres.

Our aim is to develop and deliver projects within local communities, making sure there is a relevance to the people within that community.
