KEVIN MALLON - Irish musician Kevin Mallon studied as a violinist, singer, composer and conductor. He developed an interest in performance on period instruments, leading to a distinguished career as a violinist and conductor. He acted as concert-master for Les Arts Florissants and Le Concert Spirituel in Paris, before moving to Canada and founding the Aradia Ensemble and the Toronto Chamber Orchestra. He has developed a parallel career as a conductor of opera, choral and orchestral music- and is also Artistic Director of Ireland’s Award winning Opera 2005. His recording contract with Naxos Records has produced over 50 CDs, many of which have won international awards.
