Roel Demetrio O. Tizon was born on December 22, 1966 in Manila, Philippines. Started playing guitar at an early age of 15. After his high school graduation in 1983, he joined various groups as professional guitar player playing in various clubs in around Metro Manila to support his college studies. AS a self taught musician, he acquired his skills by taking lessons from some senior musicians around the localities. From folk, country, rock, rock and roll and anything that the audience desires, he learned the art of guitar playing with precision and discipline. He had the chances of going to other country, in particular, Japan, five times, as a member of variety group. The last place he went was in Singapore.
