Jamie And The First Class Resume

      Jamie & The First Class have established a well–deserved reputation as one of the most exciting, talented bands in the UK. Their fantastic live shows have earned them many fans and record sales around the globe.

The band was formed in 2000 and have enjoyed a gradual success; starting at small private events progressing onto worldwide tours. The first notable success was a year's residency at The Hammersmith Palais for SchoolDisco.com which led to the band performing many prestigious venues all over the world; Old Trafford, Cliveden, Stamford Bridge, The Club (Abu Dhabi),Goodwood, Grosvenor Hotel (Park Lane), Caerphilly Castle & Telford International Centre.

The First Class have enjoyed three summer season at Butlins and regularly appeared at their themed adult weekends. The band's energetic 100% live show entertains crowds of all ages, performing a wide range of music to suit all tastes.

The boys have appeared with; Jason Donovan, East 17, Nick Kershaw, ABC,
Chesney Hawkes, M People, Betty Boo, Doctor & the Medics, Bad Manners, Chappers & Dave (Radio1), Go West, Timmy Mallet, Toyah, 2 Unlimited, T'pau, Musical Youth, Keith Harris with Orville, Rick Parfitt Junior and many more.

Charity is a very important part of the band, having played for Children in Need which was featured on BBC1. In 2005 the band helped raise £20,000 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign. In 2007 The First Class were involved in ‘The Chesney Hawkes Xmas Cracker' event raising £24,000 for The White Lodge Centre.
They have also performed to raise money for The Tsunami Appeal, Scope, Cancer Research, Comic Relief, Save the Children and many more. Jamie is also involved in charitable Schools tour encouraging young people to get involved in music .

In 2008 The First Class were featured on a documentary on Channel 8 in the Middle East which was broadcasted worldwide. Jamie is a now a gold selling songwriter; having two songs featured on an album released in Europe by Declan Galbriath. Music written by Jamie has been broadcasted worldwide including major UK and European Radio stations. His songs have been performed on TV in China & German Networks SAT1 & NINE and also ITV, BBC & Channel Chelsea in the UK.
