Bharathi Vishwanathan Tiwari Resume
| Gifted with melifluous and soft voice Bharathi Vishwanathan Tiwari is an "A" grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan. Born in a south Indian family she was initiated into music by her mother late Smt Girija Vishwanathan. After her initial training she learnt classical vocal and ghazal under tutelage of Padmashri Ustad Abdul Laif Khan.
A post graduate (Gold medalist) in music Bharathi has given several performances in all the metros and in other parts of India and has got most prestegious programmes to her credit.
A regular at the famous spirit of unity concerts Bharathi has performed at Kalidas Samaroh Ujjain, LaxmiNarayan Rag sabha, Amritsar and balala Mahotsv Vizag. She has also been honoured by Andhra Pradesh government with Samaika Gaurav Puruskar.
Though her mother tongue is Tamil she has been widely acclaimed for her clear Urdu diction. Selection of classical and meaningful Ghazals is her speciality.
