Description:The exceptional Uruguayan guitarist, singer and composer FLACO BARRAL is undoubtedly one of the most outstanding and fundamental musicians of the Latin Blues scene: Founder of two of the most important groups in the history of Rock in Uruguay, Opus Alfa and Días De Blues, and in Spain, a member of the unforgettable paladins of Progressive Flamenco Rock Azahar (and its continuation, Azabache), as well as mythical sideman of a pleiade of first figures of Blues, Rock, Jazz and Flamenco, like Joan Albert Amargós, Jack Pérez, Raimundo Amador, Mike Kennedy, Hilario Camacho, Manuel Gerena, Enrique De Melchor, Carey Bell, Louisiana Red, David Gwynn , Kevin Ayers, Ollie Halsall, Tokuko Nakamura, Carlos Guerra, Javier Paxariño, Navaraj Gurung, Ñaco Goñi or Hisao Sujinaka (among many others). A fertile and multifaceted artistic career recently recognized with the “Life Trajectory Award” at the Montevideo Blues Awards 2016.
