MOCO Resume

      Born in Rome, composer, singer and instrumentalist. Currently part with Coro Da Camera Italiano.
Her debut as a composer goes back edition 1993 by Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte di Montepulciano (Siena,Italy). It was followed by a first series of works for various organic, crowned in 1997 by an honorable mention of 'International Competition for Woman Composer. In 2008 she won the selection of Framment / Azioni (Udine) with the piece of electronic music "Horse Dance" .Here are the latest performances of her compositions:

- "Summer saxes in dance” , saxophone quartet, commissioned by the quartet Atem ( Perugia Classico , PE- 2005)

Developing the learning experience gained in Rome with Boris Porena, she has specialized in Switzerland and at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in the field of introductory music. Currently teaches experimental courses of composition and introductory music in Italy and Rome (Accademia Filarmonica Romana), having developed a teaching method of her own, with particular attention to the teaching of composition in the early sections school children. She published the collection "Percorsi Flautati", first steps in the ensemble music for recorders and percussions (Musicarte).

She conceived and edited in 2003 and 2004 for the Department of Culture and Youth Policies in the Province of Rome, the project entitled "Lo Scaffaletto Musicale”, in collaboration with the Provincial Library System or Rome.
Having chosen to devote herself to composition for the musical theater and music, as part of a theatrical profession to practice as a whole, since 1997 she has worked in Italy and abroad with various opera companies and theaters. During those same years she composed music for numerous shows of plays and musicals (in 2002 he composed the music for “ La Notte di San Lorenzo”, of A. Fischer, a show included in the traveling exhibition “ Le Farfalle non vivono nel ghetto”, which is creator, on the 'topic' childhood- denied).
Currently, the search for alternative spaces in order to acquaint the public to 'implementation of European contemporary music, detaching it from the academic community officers and closed, she is teaming up with THE SHED in Dublin, in the staging of her penultimate opera "EVERLAND" (2009). It is expected to run in spring 2010.
