"Sabor Latino Duo " was founded in 2010 by the union of Italian percussionists Mario Basile and the cuban singer-dancer Deborah Romano.
The duo plays Latin American music, especially our shows are addressed to dancers of salsa, bachata, merengue,cumbia,latin ande pop dance, but the repertoire ranges from reggaeton up to current disco-music, not excluding Brazilian repertoire.
The first experiences of the duo are in the on boards of the cruise ships, but currently going around in Europe with a show in the various most prestigious pubs and clubs.
The singer cum dancer, Deborah Romano is of Cuban descent, but was born in Italy, at only five years starts a path of studying dance songs which led her to become, at age of 18, starring in several Italian musicals, in fact she lead her shows being a protagonist with a set of dancing, singing, and musical performances.
The other element of the group is Mario Basile, a native South America, was born in Italy in 1977 in Naples and only at 18 years old he graduated from the conservatory in percussion instruments.
Being the son of the Artist, as a child he participated in several television shows, in just 3 years he participated in early music competitions until his matured age he collaborated with various international artists.
The love for Latin rhythms pushed Deborah and Mario to create Sabor Latino,which in just two years has become the representative group for Latin music on cruise ships, both for MSC Cruises Costa Cruises.
