A professional musician since age seventeen. As a jazz pianist, Paul has accompanied artists including Randy Brecker, Pete King, Ronnie Scott, Sir John Dankworth, Ben Castle, Cennet Jonson, George Chisholm, Don Lusher, Eric Delaney, Kenny Baker, as well as performing at London's Barbican Centre, Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall.
The majority of Paul's work as a commercial musician has been within the capacity of cruise ships (Cunard, P&O, Fred Olsen), Hotels (London Marriot, London Hilton), and holiday centres (Warners, Butlins). This has given him the opportunity to accompany many celebrities including Tom O'Connor, Joe Pasquale, Brian Conley, Roy Walker, Jim Bowen, Bert Weeden, The Bachelors, Keith Harris and Orville the Duck !!
Paul also taught pianoforte (for Haringey Music & Performing Arts) visiting schools as a peripatetic teacher in and around the North London area over a successful five year period.
Studies include Composition at Leeds College of Music (Tony Faulkner, Graham Hearn), Guildhall School of Music and Drama (Scott Stroman, Stan Sulzman), Trinity College of Music (Robert Lamb, Peter Moore), and Orchestral Conducting and Orchestration at Morley College London (Paul Sarcich).
Holds valid UK Driving License, GB Passport, Seamans Discharge Book, C1/D Visa (Crew Member), Australian Visa (Crew Member), and Typhoid, Hepatitus, and Yellow Fever vaccinations.
