20 Demo DVDs sent to Places & NO ONE has bothered to watch posted by Glenn King

I am a trained guitarist with over 30 years of experience, a trained singer. I play Rockabilly styles, (early Elvis etc), I play Surf Guitar, The Ventures, The Shadows, Beatles, etc. I recently did a short 20 minute DVD featuring me playing live great hits of popular music. I got local entertainment publication and noted the places that feature live music. I called to find out who is in charge of music entertainment decisions, for example, a hotel is often the Food And Beverage Manager, speak to him/her and say can I drop off a demo DVD which also has my playlist, etc. They say, "fine, sure." I call back after dropping it off weeks later, even months, I say, have you watched it? "No, I've been busy," etc. things like this. And it gets repeating like this over and over. I find the person playing there now, see their youtube videos-- "guitarist" can't even do a fraction of what I can do, their singing is off (I am trained by a Berkley vocal coach). Yet they play 4 - 5 times a week and I don't play at all. What gives?
