Hello, I would like to introduce you all to my new technique Griffiths's Scales!
Let's start off with the standard C Minor:
Now something new, Reverse C Minor:
When we play going up the keyboard we play in C Minor:
And when we play going down the keyboard we play in Reverse C Minor:
Here's a simple tune combining both going up and going down the keyboard:
I call this Scale Minor-Minor.
That's it, a simple technique with the best sound yet. Give it a try!
My name is Paul G Griffiths, I'm 41 years of from Bristol, England.
I would love to hear your songs so post them to this thread!
Before I may write any comment I would like to know this :
Referring to the first two pictures of your post ( that I cannot visualize properly ) the scale goes up from C to C ( with Eb - thus C minor ) but NOT including the 6° ( A or Ab ) , while it goes back as the scale of C major but including all the tunes . Are the 2 pictures showing that ?
Check out these tracks I did about 3 years ago in I think Major-Major.
Your probably like the sound!
A track I made this morning in Minor-Minor while in hospital.
Reminds me of Dr Who. think your like it https://soundcloud.com/sear-paul-griffiths/griffiths-dr-woo
