If you are willing to pay travel and room & board expenses from the US, I would be interested in performing for your wedding. I am a trumpet soloist from the Philadelphia area and you can find out more about me (along with some sample performances) at my website -www.trumpetsinger.com. I could probably arrange to find a good keyboard player from Portugal to accompany me on the piano, organ, or electronic keyboard (depending on the location of the ceremony - i.e., church or otherwise) so that you wouldn't have to pay travel expenses for that musician. Otherwise my fee for arranging for a keyboard player plus performing the ceremony, including music before and after would be $300.00. I would think that I could contract a keyboardist for no more than $200.00 so your total for the wedding music would be no more than $500.00 (plus the travel expenses??). Trumpet and organ (or piano) for a wedding would provide a real touch of majesty to your ceremony! Although I realize that it is unlikely that you are able to cover the travel expenses from the US, I thought I would respond to this anyway, just in case....
