A picture paints a thousand words....What of a song?

I will let my songs paint the picture.

Everything you hear except the vocals and lyrics of Julia Margaret Nolan has been written, performed, programmed, recorded and produced by myself.

Thank you

Peter John Bailey

I am equipped to gig initially (amp amps and my Classical midi guitar) but the rest of my guitars, effects and midi racks are presently sitting in a basement in Melbourne, down under waiting to raise the money to ship them back. At the moment I am playing on the streets about 4 hrs everyday, it beats DHSS and minimum wages, some weeks even better than when I worked as a top draw finishing carpenter. I have my own transport.

Also a very good percussionist, not at a high flash technical level, but I have a very influential affect on those I play with. I spent 6 years as a young musician in Morocco and it just seeped into me. I play very simple patterns but they groove and are highly poly rhythmic due to subtle emphasis, "real" percussion drummers love me and this is also very evident in my guitar playing. Lot's of 2 against 3 and 3 against 4, always thinking 3 but playing to the beat of one. it seems I have spent a life time slapping my thighs My Moroccan Gumbri playing friend, Said Foud would have me practice on a cassette box filled with dried chick peas, I was never allowed to ever hold it, held between the fingers and thumb, left hand, right, left hand.... and never ever on curse of death keep time, never emphasis a beat, but count alternately either 1,2,3 0r 1,2, but keeping the same no marked pulse Once I had it smooth then I was allowed to emphasis the first beat of 1,2,3 or 1,2. which on analysis displaces the second beat by about 5 milliseconds....but this is another story... the "groove and feel" factor. We can not hear the difference between two notes played 10 milliseconds apart...but we feel it.
