- Award winning composer William Malcolm Jones was born in 1951 in Seven Sisters in the Valleys of South Wales. William and has been steeped in music his entire life; as a professional musician, teacher, conductor, arranger and composer. He has been playing music since the age of seven, when he joined his village Brass Band in Seven Sisters. At the age of fifteen, he joined the Welsh Guards Band, and studied music at the Junior Musicians Wing, Guards Depot, Pirbright for two years and a further two years at the Royal Military School of music Kneller Hall. ...
