Andrew St. Hilaire Resume

      Andrew St. Hilaire is the president and operator of St. Hilaire Music LTD and MixMyPart.com. He is a musician working out of Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada. Andrew enjoys his musical work as an accompanist, music director, arranger, publisher, teacher, and more. He's usually involved with musical productions, music festivals, playing for choirs, soloists, bands, or recording and he likes finding new things to try in the world of music.

Most recently, Andrew launched the new website MixMyPart.com which features the software he developed to help choirs learn their repertoire more quickly. He also recently produced and was the music director for a production of The Last Five Years by Jason Robert Brown. He was the Music Director for Rainbow Stage's 2011 summer production of Cats and also in 2010 for RENT and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (for the performance run). Before that he was in Toronto where he played for Mirvish Productions on The Boys In The Photograph as Keyboard I in the pit orchestra. He was also contracted as the production's music copyist since the show was being updated and required extensive work on the musical score to produce accurate band parts and a complete piano/vocal score.

Rainbow Stage and the Manitoba Theatre Centre have had Andrew play for their musical productions including Next To Normal, Hairspray, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, The Boys in the Photograph, Rocky Horror Show, Beauty and the Beast, and The Drowsy Chaperone.

At the Neptune Theatre in Halifax, Andrew was the music director in 2008 for the production of The Producers and before that, in 2007 for Beauty and the Beast. The Academy of Acting in Winnipeg also hired Andrew as their music director for a production of Sweeney Todd in 2008 and again in 2009 for RENT.

He was also the music director at St. Alban's Anglican Parish from 2000 to 2004, and was previously the pianist & organist at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Parish for eleven years. He was the full time accompanist with Vincent Massey Collegiate from 1998 to 2008, working with the choral & musical theatre classes as well as playing for the musical productions.
