The Vibes The Vibes Party Band Resume

      December 2013 - May 2014 - Celebrity Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean

With : 5 piece band (Singer - Kerry)

This is our current contract on the Florida / Caribbean and Transatlantic route. We play a wide variety of music with an emphasis on modern music, to fit in with the 'Modern Luxury' theme. We play a few laid back sets and lots of party sets. We are also the house band for the weekly dance competition and play in 2 theatre shows a week. We have been asked to return later this year for a 2 month contract in September.


October 2013- DFDS Seaways

With : 6 piece band (Singers - Anne and Liv)

This was a month long contract on the Newcastle to Amsterdam route, playing 4 x 45 minute sets, 7 days a week. We played up tempo party music from the 50's to present day, with an emphasis on current pop, rock and chart music. We play many styles of music on this contract to suit different age groups that arrive on the boat, we include rock and roll, motown, disco, classic rock, 80's as well as modern rock and pop.

March 2013- September 2013

During this period we have played many events in the UK and surrounding, including weddings, parties, festivals and others. This included a 5 day stint playing in Munich for Oktoberfest in September, playing for London Fashion week and other events. We play events for all age groups, tailoring our music to suit. This summer we've played everything from school proms to 60th birthday parties.

February 2013- DFDS Seaways

This was the Newcastle to Amsterdam route playing 4 or 5 45 minute sets, 7 days a week. We played up tempo party music from the 50's to present day.

Before February 2013

The Vibes have been going since 2007, since then we have played at hundreds of events throughout the UK and Europe and have worked with many different musicians and singers. We have played from audiences from 10 to 5,000. The core of the band has remained the same and we have worked with different singers for different events and contracts.
