Sophie Aynsley Resume

      I graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2011 with a 2:1 degree in BMus (hons) Music, where my modules included Performance, Composition, Orchestration, Analysis, Editing and Notation of Early Music, Music History and World Music. I also have A-Levels in Music (A), Mathematics (A), and Biology (B). I have a DipABRSM diploma in piano performance, and have performed several public piano recitals as part of my university course, and also regularly perform piano at an old people's home. I am also an experienced accompanist, having acted as regular accompanist for one of the performance classes at university, and accompanied several students in their end of year recitals. I now accompany three choirs, and regularly accompany soloists in concerts, recitals and exams. Before attending university I also accompanied the choir at my sixth form college. I play piano in the oboe and piano duo Duo Dolcissimo. I also play violin, on which I attained a distinction at ABRSM Grade 8 in 2007. I regularly perform on violin in orchestras, chamber groups, and also in bands for musical theatre shows. I occasionally play the organ for services at my local church. I have travelled all around Europe on many orchestra tours. I also hold an ABRSM Grade 8 merit on bassoon, and a distinction at ABRSM Grade 5 Theory. I enjoy listening to a wide range of musical genres. From Feburary to June 2011, I worked as an admissions assistant at Royal Holloway, University of London. I currently work as a part-time administration assistant at Doulos.
