Description: | Description:The Six Suites for Unaccompanied Cello by Johann Sebastian Bach are acclaimed as some of the greatest works ever written for solo cello[citation needed] and some of the greatest of all music. They were most likely composed during the period 1717–1723, when Bach served as a Kapellmeister in Cöthen. The guitar version was originally recorded by Barrett Smith on his album "Solo Guitar" released in 1999. Bryan revived the work creating a new arrangement for Clarinet & Guitar featuring a flowing, melodic line that glides over the arpeggiation in the guitar with hints towards Bach's widely known "Aria" for orchestra. |
