Johar Ali Khan is the son and disciple of Late Ustad Gohar Ali Khan of Rampur, one of the greatest violin genius. He belongs to the Rampur and Patiala Gharana. His grand father was the illustrious Ustad Ali Baksh, the founder of Patiala Gharana which has produced a number of great musicians like Ustad Fateh Ali Khan, Ustad Amanat Ali Khan, Asad Amanat Ali Khan, Hamid Ali Khan etc.

INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS:
Recently Johar Ali Khan represent India to United Nations, the occasion was 60 years UNESCO celebration at Paris. Where he has compose music for melody of dialogue among Civilizations Association. He also represents India to SAARC Summit at Bangladesh. He also represent India to so many countries including Nepal, Bangladesh, England, Syria, Holland, Estonia, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Chez Republic, France, Belgium, Finland, Fiji, Dubai and several African countries, Through Indian government and some private organizations. Johar Ali Khan performs Indian music in the presence of head of different part of the world, Including President, Vice-president, Prime Minister, some royal family members and also musical personalities. Johar Ali Khan has composed music for South Pacific Games.

NATIONAL ACHEVIEMENTS:
Johar Ali Khan performs thousands of Hindustani Violin concerts, in different parts of India, Several major cities, towns and villages. He has performed for several government organizations and non-government organizations, including Radio & television. He's member of General Assembly of Indian Council of Culture Relation. He perform for Sangeet Natak Academy, Sahitay Kala Parishad, ICCR, All India Radio, Doordarshan, Several television channels, Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Yaadgaar Sabha, Spic Macay, North Zonal Cultural Center, Ministry of Culture, Punjab Heritage Festival, Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Academy, Savitri Vikas Samiti, SAARC Summit, Punjab Utsav, Jhansi Mohatsav, Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir Goa, Indian Trade Organization Pragati Maidan, Shriram Bhartiya Kala Kendra, Taj Mohatsav Agra, European Union Cultural Week, National Center For performing Art Mumbai.
