| Marjan Bakrevski Biography
Marjan Bakrevski is born in Bitola, Republic of Macedonia. Elementary and high school education he completed in the Music High School of Bitola, under the class of Mr. Pande Tatarcevski. After finishing high school, he continued his higher education at the Boston Conservatory of Music, in Boston, Masschusetts in the studio of Mr. Jonathan Cohler. He continues his higher education in Skopje Faculty of Music, in Skopje, Macedonia with Mr. Stojan Dimov. Throughout his studies he has visited many masterclasses by different major musicians, and has won numerous of prizes. He has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria as well as in Boston, New York, New Jeresey, Main, Ohio, and Harvard Hall in Cambridge. Marjan has also played in different orchestras in the United States of America, as well as in the Macedonian Opera and Ballet and the Macedonian Philharmonic. This summer he had his most recent concerts as a soloist with the Macedonian Philharmonic and with the Skopje Soloists Orchestra.
