      Professional Summary:
As a young boy, he was a member of the famous choir of Poznan called "Poznan Nightingales" under the baton of prof. Stefan Stuligrosz. Along with the band he has performed in many cities in the country and abroad. He also graduated with honors from the State Mieczyslaw Karlowicz Secondary School of Music in Poznan in the organ class (J. Smykowska ), solo singing (J. Kajdasz), harpsichord and piano (B. Mucha). In 2005 he graduated with honors from the The Fredric Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, where he studied singing with prof. Ryszard Ciesla and Jadwiga Rappé (also the diploma work supervisor), as well as piano chamber music and accompaniment in the class of prof. Halina Szyszkowska .
Pawel Jakub Wojtasiewicz, is endowed with interesting lyrical baritone timbre, with a special ability of coloratura singing, leading him largely to the performance of baroque and classical music (Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart). He gives concerts in Poland and in many European countries: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Great Britain, Italy and Spain.

He participated in numerous masterclasses of the interpretation of vocal music, among others, such as prof.: Eugeniusz Sasiadek, Stefania Toczyska, Leopold Spitzer, Paul Esswood (Florence), Grace Bumbry, Teresa Cahill, Roberta Alexander (s'Hertogenbosch - Netherlands), Brigitte Fassbaender, Christa Ludwig and Hildegard Zadek (Vienna), as well as he took part in the dance courses of the contemporary Latin American dance technique and the standard at home and abroad (as it cuts his other profession - choreography).
Already in 2000, he received third prize at the Competition for Young Singers in Lodz (Poland) and the award for best interpretation of a piece of old music. He was a member of the prestigious vocal competitions, m.in Klassik Mania Vienna (2004), IVC 's-Hertogenbosh (2008), the Concorso Internationale di Canto Lirico di Bari (2008), Hilde Zadek Gesangwettbewerb Vienna (2009) and The International Marcello Giordani Vocal Competition (Catania, 2011). He has performed at many prestigious festivals, including German Music Festival in Hanover, Moniuszko Festival in Kudowa Zdroj, Mozart Festival in Bari (Italy).

Pawel Jakub Wojtasiewicz cooperates with well-known early music ensembles such as the "Arte dei Suonatori", "Academia dell 'Arcadia' and Inter-Study of Early Music at the Music Academy in Warsaw under the direction of Agata Sapiecha (numerous concerts in the promotion of old music in collaboration with prof. J. Rappé). From 2000 to 2005, Pawel Jakub Wojtasiewicz collaborated with the Warsaw Chamber Opera. Now, is related to two foreign agencies, art as a concert singer, from the year 2005 with The Have Impresariaat Almere (Netherlands) and since 2008 with Xavier Dorado Agenzia Clasica de Musica (Spain), taking part in numerous opera and stage projects of both agencies, mainly in the Benelux countries and Spain.

In addition to the beloved and early Baroque repertoire - classical, the artist also likes the repertoire of the circle of Italian Romantic opera and repertoire of songs.

Since 2007, the artist is also regularly involved in teaching, as a teacher of solo singing at the Experimental Study of solo singing in Poznan (Poland).
