More About Levon Mouradian

  • Levon Mouradian was the Silver Medal winner in the 1985 Pablo Casals International Cello Competition. He was a prize winner in the Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow, and in 1997 he achieved First Prize for Cello in the Julio Cardona International Bow Instruments’ Competition in Covilhã, Portugal. He also won Third Prize in the Soviet Union Competition in 1982. Born in Yerevan, Armenia into a family of musicians, Levon Mouradian started playing the cello at the age of six, in the class of Professor Tchaauchian at the specialist sch... (more info...)
