Born in Mexico City, he studied at the Rotterdam Conservatory (The Netherlands) Jazz Arranging and Composition. Also at the Centro de Investigación y Estudios de la Musica (CIEM) where he studied Classical Composition, Electric Guitar, Pedagogy and Music Theory. Carlos obtained the 8th Degree in Classical Guitar and Music Theory in association with the Royal School of Music (GB).
