Christine Triffitt Resume

Christine has loved singing since childhood, her earliest memory of singing in public was when she was around five years old and was asked to climb on her teacher's desk in front of the class and sing the Hymn ' I'll sing a hymn to Mary' which she did without hesitation. She then began to sing in school plays, her church choir, where she sang solos and began singing lessons at the age of sixteen. On entering her local music festival she won first prize in the soprano solo class. She later studied part-time at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London with Prof. William McAlpine.
While bringing up her family she played many principal parts in her local Operatic Society productions. With more free time on her hands Christine feels it is the right time to pursue her passion for singing and is enjoying, performing, composing and working with other musicians.
