Tony Lowe Resume

      Musician, composer, producer and humanitarian - Tony Lowe firmly believes that music can be a force for positive change in the world. Passionate about human and animal rights, the peace campaign and the environment. These issues are often reflected in his heartfelt lyrics and evocative music.

Tony conceived and produced 'All of the Above' A concept album and live event with ecological and spiritual overtones. Based on the colour spectrum and combining music, imagery and colour. Co written with Alison Fleming, the soundtrack has been very well received by critics and listeners alike and was performed in full for the first time on October 25th 2008 in London.

Previously Tony has arranged, played on and produced over 150 albums and worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. As well as touring as a guitarist worldwide, he was an in-house session player and played on many records at Trident studios in London. Since then has written music for TV, Film and Theatre. Was co-producer with Simon Townshend on many studio projects with Ben Townshend, Mark Brzezicki, Zak Starkey and Lyndsay King. Toured as guitarist in the Simon Townshend Band. Has produced and recorded many independent artists over the last 20 years and continues to encourage and help new songwriters.

Tony has also worked with Julian Lennon - The Pet Shop Boys - David Cross - John Foxx - Phil Ramone - BBC Children in Need - Visage - Belouis Some - Julien Clerc - Toyah Willcox - Ben Chapman - Soulseekerz - Poppy Gonzalez and has appeared on TV worldwide with Aretha Franklin - Genesis and Kim Wilde.
Three times nominated for a Golden Kayak Award for musical excellence at IAC. 'All of the Above' made the first ballot for the 2007 Grammy awards in eight categories. Second Nature was balloted in six categories for the 2008 Grammy awards.

Tony has self produced two solo instrumental albums over the last two years and two collaborations with Alison Fleming.

A percentage of profits from Tony's CD and music download sales goes to Charity.
