Dana Michelle Brenklin Resume
|Dana Brenklin is a talented singer. Born in Gardena, California. Dana toured and performed music at an early age. From the day she learned to speak, she began singing. As a child she remembers the influences of Michael Jackson, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin and Sam Cooke. Later as a teenager Dana joined Crenshaw High School Elite Choir, this brought her as far as Europe and the Carribean. Dana appeared along with the choir on such variety shows as Chez Whoopi with Whoopi Goldberg, The Arsenio Hall Show and other popular television shows and events, discovering the world of the Hollywood music scene. After high school Dana registered with several casting agencies and was often called for extra work. One such credit is "Virtuosity", starring Denzel Washington. Other credits include audience participation for various t.v. programs. Dana performed studio work with the choir, recording "The City of fallen Angels", a song that was played over the air during the 1992 social unrest. Also, she has recorded two demos. Dana is a lyricist with over 150 copyrighted projects in song format (no melodies). She is familiar with the piano keyboard and the guitar. Dana Brenklin's Publishing is the home of Dana's Creation. With her hands-on training and a appreciation for music that can't be matched, Dana Brenklin strives to be the ultimate performer/business woman. She has completed a course in recording engineering at Los Angeles Recording Workshop (LARW). During the course of this study Dana was invited along with other LARW students to work at Michael Jackson's Neverland Valley Ranch as volunteers for live set up and teardown following Mr. Jackson's birthday party in 2003. In 2006 after years of struggling with medical issues and other hardships, (including almost losing her leg in a car accident at the tender age of 21, supporting her mother while she recovered from breast cancer and a list of other things) Dana and her mother buried her little sister, Dana, still on a mission to fulfill her dream became a member of ASCAP. Dana has just been accepted into the Musicians Institute, still her tenacious quest for the spotlight and to share her talents with others continues.|
