- Came 2nd in the 2011 British Jazz Awards 'Rising Star' Young professional jazz trumpeter available for all kinds of dep work. Experienced in Jazz/Big Band/Funk/Reggae/Ska, a good reader and improviser. Jamie Brownfield, 19, hails from the village of Llanrhaeadr Y.M. in Mid Wales. He started on the cornet aged 9 playing in the local brass band & becoming a member of the senior band when he was 11.
