MannyCepeda1 Resume

At a very early age Manny was destined to be a musician, write his own music and lead a band of his own. His first Cousin "Modesto Cepeda" bought him his first drum and the spark of creation started then. Manny attributes his knowledge to his Uncle "Rafael Cepeda Atiles" the patriarch of Bomba y Plena of Puerto Rico.

Manny decided to pay tribute to his Uncle Rafael on his 2014 CD Release "Roots/Raices" where he wrote, arranged and composed 7 Plenas and 3 Bombas based on the rich history his family had bestowed on him. Manny has continued creating music and in 2017 was Latin Grammy Nominated for his "Padre Querido" CD, a Salsa/Fusion CD full of rich rhythms from all his travels around the world. Keep tune for more music from Manny!
