      “The Avantgarde” started in 2009 with life performances in local clubs in Stara Zagora in the following formation : vocals, keyboards, solo guitar, bass guitar, drums and percussion. Later on, the band has been attracted by the opportunities on the seaside and mountain resorts in the country – Sunny Beach, Golden Sands, Bansko.
In 2010 “The Avantgarde” was selected in a casting of Ram Agency to take a tour in the Nordic and Baltic countries working for “Tallink Line”, an Estonian company for cruises and ferries. Just afterwards Petko Valkanov (keyboard) and Tsvetomira Kaleva (singer) joined the band replacing the original members.
At present “The Avantgarde” consists of five members and has live performances in clubs and piano bars all around Bulgaria.
