I have recently graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with a 2:1 degree in BMus (hons) Music, where my modules included Performance, Composition, Orchestration, Analysis, Editing and Notation of Early Music, Music History and World Music. I also have A-Levels in Music (A), Mathematics (A), and Biology (B). I enjoy composition and arrangement, and regularly compose in my free time as well as having studied composition as part of my university course. I am an accomplished user of the Sibelius software.

I have a DipABRSM diploma in piano performance, and have performed several public piano recitals as part of my university course, and also regularly perform piano at an old people's home. I also have experience as an accompanist, having acted as regular accompanist for one of the performance classes, and accompanied several students in their end of year recitals. Before attending university I also accompanied the choir at my sixth form college. I also play violin, on which I attained a distinction at ABRSM Grade 8 in 2007. I regularly perform on violin in orchestras, chamber groups, and also in bands for musical theatre shows. I have travelled all around Europe on many orchestra tours. I also hold an ABRSM Grade 8 merit on bassoon, and a distinction at ABRSM Grade 5 Theory. I enjoy listening to a wide range of musical genres.

I would greatly appreciate this opportunity to share my music with a wider audience. I look forward to hearing from you.

Me llamo Santino Cara, soy un compositor de música sacra y música clásica de Palestrina, Roma-Italia, tengo 54 años de edad y vivo en Roma. Leí tu mensaje y estoy interesado en su propuesta, me gustaría saber más de lo que es.

Empecé a estudiar música a finales de los años sesenta con el maestro padre Luigi Buttiglieri. De él aprendí las reglas más importantes, en primer lugar el estudio el órgano y, a continuación, la polifonía. En consecuencia a mis estudios caí en el amor con el genio de Johann Sebastian Bach, pero al mismo tiempo que descubrí dentro de mí un profundo interés por la música barroca y en particular para compositores de Gran clavicordio veneciano. Durante los años, el profesor sabio padre Luigi, impartido me todas las técnicas para examinar las obras para órgano de los grandes compositores del siglo XVII.

A mediados de los 80, empecé a estudiar composición y armonía, y compuse mis primeras obras para voces y órgano, lograr el conocimiento y la confianza en la música escribiendo, particularmente en los corales, preludios, fugas, etc.. Bajo la dirección del padre Luigi, comencé el estudio y conocimiento de otros instrumentos, en particular, el piano que me hizo llegar la confianza en la composición. En este momento de mi vida, arrojaron yo apasionadamente el romanticismo de apelación Frédéric Chopin y Ludwig van Beethoven. En 1981 ocupó el cargo de organista en la Iglesia de Saint Anthony Abad en Palestrina y siempre en la misma ciudad, yo fui elegido para organizar el teatro musical en el seminario del niño Jesús. Desde 1990 empecé el ciclo de los que considero mis piezas más importantes, por su estilo de nivel, como la "Misa de Réquiem en e menor Op.11 para 4 voces mixtas y orquesta", que tardó dos años en completarse. También: Pianos Sonatas, nocturnos, baladas, valses. Hice un trabajo enorme también para componer los "cuatro libros de canciones sagrados" dividido en: voces "a capella", órgano y voces, voces y los instrumentos y el mismo número de libros de "chorals para órgano", que son la reedición de los "libros cuatro de canciones sagrado". No satisfecho, me fui de escribir música con la misma pasión de los comienzos. Desde el comienzo de mi composición ahora, he completado más de 400 composiciones. Otros están todavía en la revisión o volver a montar las fases.

Esta  en parte es mi historia, espero sus noticias más concretas.
