The Belgian violinist Sarah Vandemoortele started learning the violin at the age of six and already at the age of twelve she became finalist of the Aida International Violin Competition in the Netherlands. In 2004 she finished 3rd in the national chamber music competition “Ottoboni” with the clarinet trio “Three-O” and she became first laureate in the national competition “Axion Classics”.
